IDS 3000
Specifically designed for Underground (URD) Fault Location Detection and Transformer Monitoring Applications, the IDS 3000 provides the industry’s first fully remote URD fault location detection system capable of remotely pinpointing segment locations for URD faults. Additionally, the IDS 3000 can be used to identify degraded cables, monitor primary current, and incorporate low voltage monitoring capabilities for voltage threshold, transient voltages, secondary neutral failures, and outage and restoration detection.
The IDS 3000 is field proven and has been deployed on various types of distribution grid URD infrastructures and can be used on subsurface transformers. For most configurations, separate enclosures are not required, simplifying installation and reducing costs. The IDS 3000 complies with industry standards and meets all safety requirements.
